Today I would like to share with you banana yogurt recipe.
You can increase/decrease the amount of the sugar due to the ripeness of your bananas and your palate.
After several trials we decided on around 60 grams. Our bananas were moderately ripe, yellow colour with green tips.
Ingredients:
200g banana, roughly chopped
60g sugar
1000g full fat milk
100g full fat yogurt
1 tsp vanilla sugar
50g milk powder (the one I had was a skimmed one)
Note: I often replace sugar with agave syrup.

Vanilla Yogurt

In our household, the Vanilla Sugar, which I gave the recipe for in my previous post, is mostly used to make this very delicious vanilla yogurt. Since we use it to prepare breakfast we always have some in the fridge.
Ingredients:
1000g whole milk
100g yogurt
50g milk powder (I used skimmed milk powder)
40g sugar (I use agave syrup)
20g vanilla sugar

I posted a couple of yogurt recipes before (Recipe1, Recipe2). I am trying alternative recipes in the search for the best results. I make yogurt at least once a week. I'd like to share the recipe and method which I've been using recently.

I published a yogurt recipe before. This is an alternative one. It seemed to me this one came thicker. The ingredients remain the same but the preparation is different

1 liter whole milk
100g yogurt

Note: If you'd like to prepare yogurt with 2 liters of milk, warm milk for 20 minutes

Ingredients:
1 liter whole milk
100g yogurt
Preparation:
- Warm milk for 17 minutes at 80°C on Speed 2-3
- Let it cool until 37°C, check every once in a while
- As soon as it reaches at 37°C add yogurt and mix for 10 seconds on Speed 3-4
- Warm for 17 minutes at 37°C on Speed 2-3
- Remove TM Bowl, close with Measuring Cup, wrap it with polar blanket and let it rest for 12 hours (Or you can simply transfer it into Thermo Server and let it rest for 12 hours)
- Transfer it into an airtight container and store in the fridge

- Put milk and yogurt in TM Bowl. Warm milk for 5 minutes at 50°C on Speed 3-4.
- Remove TM Bowl off the base. Close with Measuring Cup. Wrap it with a polar blanket and let it rest for 12 hours. (Or simply transfer it into a thermos bowl and let it rest for 12 hours)
- Transfer it into an airtight container, store in the fridge.
