Mushroom and Tuna Sauce


For 320g pasta (makes 4 servings)
15g parsley leaves
3 cloves of garlic
30g extra virgin olive oil
250g mushrooms, sliced
400g canned diced tomatoes
1 can tuna fish, drained (1 can = 160g gross weight, 100-110g net)
Freshly ground black pepper

  • Chop parsley for 5 seconds on Speed 7 and set aside half of it. Scrape down the sides of TM Bowl with spatula
  • Add oil and cloves of garlic. Cook for 4 minutes at 100ºC on Speed 1
  • Remove cloves of garlic. Add mushrooms and cook for 4 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Soft Speed
  • Add tomatoes and salt. Cook for 20 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Speed 1
  • Add tuna and cook for 5 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Speed 1
  • Mix sauce with boiled-drained pasta in a pan for 1 minute on the stove
  • Serve into plates. Sprinkle with parsley and freshly ground pepper
