200g water
25g fresh yeast
500-550g flour
10g salt
A pinch of salt
200g cream cheese like Philadelphia
Sesame, poppy seeds
- Warm water for 1 minute at 37°C on Speed 1
- Sift in 500g flour. Add salt, sugar and cream cheese. Knead for 4 minutes
- If the texture is too sticky add 30-50g flour and knead 1 minute more. (You may need to add some flour depending on the quality of the cheese you use)
- Divide dough into 10 pieces. Shape them the way you like and place them in oven tray which is previously covered with baking paper
- Brush them with a little water on the top
- Wet your index and middle fingers with a little water. First press them on sesame or poppy seeds then on the bread. (they would stick better this way)
- Let them rise for 1 hour
- Bake in preheated oven at 220°C for 20-25 minutes
- After taking them out of oven, cover them with a clean cloth and let them rest a while before you serve
