After hearing about the great qualities of linseed such as lowering LDL, stabilizing blood-sugar levels...etc I decided to prepare some recipes with linseed. This is the first time that I actually used it, nevertheless I liked it a lot
200g water
20g fresh yeast
15g honey
200g flour
250g wholewheat flour
20g extra virgin olive oil
5g salt
50g linseed
1 tbsp anise seeds
- Put linseed and some water in a bowl. Allow to soak for 3 hours in advance
- Warm water for 1 minute at 37°C on Speed 1
- Add yeast and honey and mix for 4 seconds on Speed 4
- Add flours
- Add well-strained linseeds into TM Bowl
- Add anise seeds, oil and salt. Knead for 4 minutes
- Put it in a deep bowl, cover with plastic film and let it rise for 1 hour
- Place some baking paper in the oven tray. Brush with a little oil on the top
- Oil also your hands a little so that you could work better
- Give it a desired shape. (I just made it simple loaf shape). Let it rise 1 hour
