20g butter or margarine
550g leeks, roughly chopped
100g potatoes, roughly chopped
850g water
Salt, black pepper
100ml cream
- Melt butter for 1,5 minutes at 90ºC on Speed 1
- Add leeks and potatoes. Chop for 10 seconds on Speed 5
- Cook for 5 minutes at 100ºC on Speed 1
- Add water and cook for 20 minutes at 100ºC on Speed 1 with Measuring Cup (MC) ON
- Add salt and pepper. Blend for 1 minute on Speed 9-10 with MC ON. (If you wish hold the MC with a tea towel to be sure that you wouldn't burn yourself or mess around)
- Cook for 5 more minutes at 100ºC on Speed 1 with MC ON
- Add cream and mix for 10 seconds on Speed 5 with MC ON
- Serve into bowls. You can sprinkle with some finely chopped parsley if you wish
